About Jayson Francisco

"I'm Jayson Francisco, but you can call me Pogs. I'm a wedding, portrait and fashion photographer and also a videographer. I mostly do catalogue shoots for clothing lines, and on weekends I'm a wedding photographer. Recently, I have ventured into corporate advertisements and events and my Sony A7M2 helps me live up to this new challenge."

I love taking photos because of emotions, that I can express through my photos, not only my own but the emotions of my subject. I love to capture moments that cannot be repeated, or take a snap of something that will last for a lifetime. Photos has been a part of our daily lives, and it can remind you of something happy or something to look back and be a lesson.

Why did I choose Sony?
I chose Sony a7M2 as a replacement for my old Canon EOS 5D Mark II. I find the Sony A7M2 easy to use because it’s lightweight and has better ISO handling than my old camera. I love to shoot outdoors, that’s why is it important for me to have better ISO performance, because it gives me an advantage in low light conditions.

Shooting outdoors gives me the freedom to express and capture amazing moments with what natural light provides me. During indoor and studio shoots, Sony’s lightweight material allows me to carry for longer periods of time. This camera allows me to shoot in different scenarios, which helps on my job as a photographer.
I also do video shoots, and that was another reason for me to choose the A7M2.

Experience using Sony A7M2

I love this mirrorless camera because shooting with it in JPEG and RAW gives me a great image quality. True color from screen to print also means less editing for me, which results to faster turnover time for my clients. It’s a win-win situation.

Under controlled light and studio setup, the A7M2 gives me sharp images and the details I need to produce quality output.
